What is World Building Methods Syllabus about?

This course focuses on world building methods through the creation of original intellectual properties. Students will work in groups of 2-3 to develop narrative elements, spaces, stories, and other components of a cohesive fictional world over the course of the semester. There will be two presentations at the midpoint and end of the course to showcase the developing worlds. Students will be graded on daily participation, two presentations, and a final three-part world building project which accounts for 50%
