About this document

Resistance Training Effects on Sarcopenia by ARGENIS is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigated the impact of 16 weeks of resistance training on muscle quality and growth factors in older women with sarcopenia. Results showed significant improvements in functional fitness and muscle strength in the resistance training group, while the control group experienced an increase in intramuscular fat. Although some muscle growth factors like follistatin increased, the overall effectiveness of resistance training on these factors was limited.
