This study evaluates the antibacterial activities of methanol extracts from six Cameroonian medicinal plants against multi-drug resistant Gram-negative bacteria. The results indicate that extracts from Albizia adianthifolia and Laportea ovalifolia exhibit significant antibacterial properties, with the lowest MIC value recorded at 64 µg/mL for Alchornea laxiflora against Enterobacter aerogenes. The findings suggest the potential use of these plants in combating antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections.
