What is Jameel Jalibi: Scholar of Urdu Literature about?
Jameel Jalibi was a renowned Pakistani scholar of Urdu literature and linguistics. He was born in 1927 in Aligarh, India and migrated to Pakistan after the partition in 1947. He received several degrees and worked for the Income Tax Department of Pakistan until his retirement. Jalibi served as Vice-Chancellor of Karachi University from 1983 to 1987.
