ABSTRACT- The morphometric and meristic analyses of three species of freshwater catfish, Mystus cavasius, Mystus vittatus and Mystus bleekeri of Chandubi beel, Assam were investigated. The morphometric characters vary effectively among the three different species making its application taxonomically significant.
