The Government of West Bengal has issued a memo to enhance the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA) by allowing additional days for conducting special clinics for high-risk pregnant women. Gynecologists are to be mobilized at PMSMA clinics on the 9th of each month, with two additional dates (19th and 24th) designated for special clinics if necessary. This initiative aims to improve antenatal care and reduce maternal morbidity and mortality in the state.
