Stock transfer orders allow a plant to replenish materials stored in another plant of the same company. When a kanban is emptied, a purchase order is generated requesting the other plant deliver the needed material. This creates a release order in the delivering plant and purchase order in the receiving plant. The delivering plant then sends the material using goods movement type 351, while the receiving plant refills its stock using type 101 or sets the kanban status to full to refill in the background.
