What is Aladdin and the Magic Lamp Story about?

1) Aladdin was a poor but idle boy in China whose father died. He was befriended by an African magician who claimed to be his uncle. 2) The magician led Aladdin to a cave hidden under a rock and told him to retrieve a magic lamp from within. Aladdin obtained the lamp but refused to hand it over until exiting the cave. 3) In anger, the magician caused the cave entrance to seal, trapping Aladdin inside with the magic lamp.
