What is Cri du Chat Syndrome Overview about?

Cri-du-chat syndrome is caused by a deletion of the short arm of chromosome 5. It is characterized by a high-pitched cat-like cry in newborns, failure to thrive, microcephaly, a round face with micrognathia and low-set ears.
