Hepatoma Two cases with ruptured hepatocellular carcinoma are presented. Emergent Ruptured hepatocellular carcinoma transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE) was performed and the intraperito-Transarterial embolization neal hemorrhage was successfully controlled. The liver damage sustained at Hepatectomy TAE continued for around 1 month and the hepatectomy was carried out after a sufficient recovery of the hepatic reserve (21 and 35 days afterTAE, respec tively). It should be emphasized that successful treatment of ruptured hepato ma is achieved with early diagnosis, cessation of bleeding with TAE and hepa tectomy under good conditions.
