Khulna City Corporation (KCC) is the local governing body for Khulna, Bangladesh, responsible for civic services and elected every five years. Established as a municipality in 1884 and upgraded to a city corporation in 1984, KCC administers 31 wards over an area of 45.65 square kilometers, serving a population of 718,735. The corporation operates under the City Corporation Act, 2009, and has an annual budget of ৳1083 crore for the fiscal year 2023-24.
