This document outlines an algorithm to calculate which channels in a property are connected to an unconformity. The algorithm works as follows: 1. Find channel cells immediately below the unconformity. 2. Expand the selection to include adjacent channel cells connected to the initially selected cells. 3. Repeat step 2 until no new cells are added, at which point all channels connected to the unconformity will be identified.
