About this document

Microevolution of Monophasic Salmonella Typhimurium During Epidemic, United Kingdom, 2005-2010 by pcuenca.ar is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigates the microevolution of monophasic Salmonella Typhimurium during an epidemic in the UK from 2005 to 2010, highlighting the emergence of multidrug-resistant clones. Whole-genome sequencing revealed significant genotypic variation and the presence of a novel genomic island associated with heavy metal resistance. The findings suggest that these monophasic variants may have implications for public health and epidemiological management of Salmonella infections.
