1) A numerical simulation of capillary waves in a finite domain with periodic boundary conditions was conducted. 2) At higher nonlinearities, a Kolmogorov -5/4 power law spectrum was observed at high wavenumbers, consistent with weak turbulence theory. However, the measured Kolmogorov constant did not match the theoretical value. 3) At lower nonlinearities, a "frozen" turbulence regime was observed, where the spectrum decayed exponentially toward high wavenumbers, with only low wavenumbers excited.
