About this document

AC Inductor Behavior and Voltage Analysis by Laiqa Qamar is a document available to read on EtoBox.

1) When an alternating current is applied to an inductor, the inductor opposes changes in current due to its self-inductance. 2) The back electromotive force induced in the inductor is proportional to the rate of change of current over time. 3) For the applied voltage to maintain the alternating current, it must equal the back EMF. Therefore, the voltage across the inductor leads the current by 90 degrees.
