This study examined the impact of discordance between CD4 count and percentage on provider compliance with Pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia (PJP) prophylaxis guidelines. The records of 429 HIV-infected patients were reviewed. CD4 count and percentage discordance was seen in 57 patients (13%).
