Self-adjusting Controllers for Linear Systems with Correlated Disturbances by N. Ula; M. Kim is a Engineering article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Self-adjusting Controllers for Linear Systems with Correlated Disturbances about?

An approach to the design of self-adjusting controllers is studied when the various disturbances a$xting the controlled system are correlated both in time and with each ether. The over-al1 cord~ol problem. is separated into two problems: the optimum coni~ol problem and the prt&ction problem. The optimum control is formulated using dynamic programming and the predictian problem is solved with the help of Wiener-Maaani predictor. An attempt is also made to obtain on adaptiue crmtrol program when some of the statistical parameters of the process are unkrwwn. The control is real-time, closed-loop, and may be carried out with the help of an "on-line" digital computer. Joumal of The Frmklin Instftute
