What is Orphaned Moose Calves Rescued about?
Two newborn moose calves were orphaned after their mother was hit by a vehicle near Prince George. Thanks to concerned passersby who reported the calves and a coordinated rescue effort, the calves were found and transported to the Northern Lights Wildlife Shelter in Smithers. At the shelter, the calves are being cared for and are eating well, giving them a second chance at life after they would have otherwise perished without their mother.
