This study evaluated the antibacterial activity of ethanol and water extracts of Piper betel leaves. The leaves were extracted using ethanol and water, and the extracts were screened for antibacterial activity against 5 bacterial strains using the agar well diffusion method. Both extracts showed varying degrees of antibacterial activity against the test microorganisms. The ethanol extract was more effective at inhibiting bacterial growth compared to the aqueous extract.
