This document presents research conducted by Licenciado Cándido Medina at the José Francisco Torrealba I Educational Unit in Valencia, Venezuela. The objective of the research was to apply strategies to encourage the learning of Natural Sciences among 2nd-year students. A socio-critical approach and the Participatory Action Research method were used. The difficulties of the students were diagnosed, and activities were developed among family, school, and community centered on Natural Science experiments.
