What is Linagliptin about?
This study evaluated the cardioprotective effects of linagliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor used to treat diabetes, in normal and streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats subjected to ischemic reperfusion injury. Parameters measured included left ventricle necrosis, antioxidant enzyme levels, and serum markers of cardiac injury.
