The resistance movement was created in two phases, beginning in the mid-1970s when a man codenamed Michael formed a group to survive being chased by the cabal. He discovered tunnels beneath New York and established a base. In the late 1990s, the organization was almost wiped out but called for help from extraterrestrials. Millions of fighters from Planet X were teleported to underground caverns to regroup the resistance movement and continue liberating Earth from the cabal
