What is Multi-Agent Framework for Table QA about?

The document presents a framework called Multi-Agent Collaboration with Tool use (MACT) for complex table question answering (TQA), which enhances performance without the need for fine-tuning or closed-source models. MACT employs a planning agent and a coding agent that collaborate using various tools to address multi-step and multi-category reasoning effectively. Experimental results show that MACT outperforms state-of-the-art systems on multiple benchmarks while maintaining efficiency and generalizability
