This thesis examines mutual coupling between loudspeakers. It discusses direct radiator loudspeakers and their electrical equivalent circuit model. It then analyzes the mutual impedances that occur when two direct radiator loudspeakers are mounted in an infinite baffle or in separate enclosures. Experimental results are presented showing how the self and mutual impedances change with speaker separation distance and enclosure type.
