About this document

Using SUMIF in Excel by kbrindley89 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

The SUMIF function allows you to sum values in a range that meet specified criteria. It combines the IF and SUM functions by determining which data meets criteria using IF, and then summing that data using SUM. Normally SUMIF is used with rows of data called records, where all cells in a row relate to each other, such as name, address, phone number. SUMIF looks for criteria in one cell, and if a match is found, it will sum the values in another cell of the same record.
