Saussure developed a thesis that has not resonated much among linguists. Despite Jakobson calling it"extraordinary intuition", it has not hitherto been an object of study. The current denominated hypogrammatic thesis intends to find the rules that would show the presence of a diseminated name of a god in classical poetry. I set out to investigate a likely resonance of the name of Krishna in The Bhagavad Gita.
