Weholite butt welding technology allows for welding of Weholite pipes in the size range of NS 500-1200 mm. The same butt welding machines used for solid wall HDPE pipes can be used for Weholite pipes, but a split heating mirror with a separate control unit is required. One adjustable heater plate per Weholite pipe dimension is needed to accommodate different ring stiffness classes and profile widths. The separate control unit allows one unit to cover the full dimension range.
