What is Sokerol Oil/Chemical Absorbent Overview about?

Sokerol is a natural wood fiber material that is safe and effective for absorbing oils and chemicals. It can absorb about 1L of hydrocarbon per kg of its weight. Tests show the absorbed materials can be safely disposed of in municipal landfills. Guidelines from environmental agencies indicate amounts up to 100kg of spent Sokerol can be disposed of in landfills provided it contains no free liquid and the absorbed materials will readily biodegrade. Larger amounts require disposal by a licensed waste treatment
