About this document
Airborne Detection of Water Raman and Fluorescence by James Sullivan is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document reports on airborne measurements of laser-induced water Raman backscatter and fluorescence from chlorophyll a and other pigments in water, collected simultaneously for the first time using a 40-channel fluorosensor. The laser-induced emissions from each laser pulse were collected and dispersed using a spectrometer with 40 photomultiplier tube detectors. Results from the North Sea and Chesapeake Bay are presented. The Raman signal allows correction for spatial variation in laser penetration dep
