What is Norah about?

Norah had a cottage on a cliff above a large bay. In winter, strong winds and sea spray made conditions severe and dangerous. Norah and her husband slept in a small downstairs room when storms blew because their upstairs bedroom faced the gales and had a large window, fearing that an extra strong gust might break the window and blow glass over them. Additionally, the salt spray from the sea ended many of the colorful plants Norah planted in her garden.
