What is Garuda about?
Garuda Indonesia took quick action in response to indications of swine flu from a passenger arriving from Singapore. They provided a special transit area at Soekarno-Hatta Airport to isolate this passenger from others out of precaution. Although the Singaporean government said the passenger tested negative, Garuda separated them for examination by health authorities to reassure other passengers.
