This document summarizes a study on using water-based Al2O3 and CuO nanofluids as coolants in an automobile radiator to improve its thermal performance. Experiments were conducted with 0.02% volume concentration of each nanofluid and water as coolants. A numerical model was also developed using the ε-NTU method in MATLAB.
