This study examined self-medication practices among 489 medical and pharmacy students in Pakistan during the COVID-19 pandemic. The researchers found that 83% of respondents reported self-medicating, most commonly using paracetamol (65.2%) and multivitamins (56.0%) to treat symptoms like fever, muscle pain, fatigue, sore throat, and cough.
