What is Mike about?

Jennifer Gellar is a former student of Wharton School of Business and the newest employee at Michael Sinclair Capital Management. During Jennifer’s first day on the job, she unknowingly meets the tattooed and pierced owner of the company, Mike Sinclair. His reaction to her leaves a lasting impression she carries with her for two weeks until she bumps into him again at a local club while out with her coworkers. The attraction between them is apparent to both and leaves each of them reeling and hurtling towards an outcome neither saw coming. Danger and deceit lie ahead. Enter David, Mike’s cousin, who reappeared in Mike’s life after a lengthy absence over a year ago. With David’s return comes a request for $12,000 each month. But to protect Mike from the truth, David provides him with little detail, and Mike doesn’t fully question it either until Jennifer comes into his life. Their relationship blossoms quickly, and it isn’t long until fear wraps its dark tentacles around him, causing Mike to worry about Jennifer’s safety. What is David involved in? How dangerous is it? Most importantly, can Mike protect Jennifer from the dangers that lie ahead or is it out of his control?
