This document presents the results of a spatial analysis of Level IV at Bolomor Cave in Valencia, Spain. The analysis identified two distinct occupation units, CBIV-1 and CBIV-2, separated by a sterile layer. CBIV-1 contained evidence of domestic activity areas associated with tool production and animal processing. CBIV-2 showed a more complex occupation pattern organized around hearths. Both units indicate Neanderthals had developed social behaviors and spatial organization during the Middle to Upper Paleo
