The Year 6 pupils of S.K. Jalan Muara Tuang underwent the Kelas Asah Minda Program which consisted of extra classes once a week and on Saturdays. Pupils were divided into high, average, and low achiever groups. Activities included brainstorming, discussions, and exercises in pairs and groups. Teachers focused on helping poor pupils individually and the high achievers helped the average achievers. Most pupils improved in writing through exercises and guidance. The program helped pupils achieve better results
