Can I read Comparison Between Tunnelling Afterglows Following Alpha or Beta Irradiations on EtoBox?

Comparison Between Tunnelling Afterglows Following Alpha or Beta Irradiations by Raphael Visocekas is a Physics and Astronomy article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Comparison Between Tunnelling Afterglows Following Alpha or Beta Irradiations about?

Afterglows following alpha or beta irradiations in some dosimeter materials were observed and assessed by comparison with TL, when possible. In the case of CaSO4:Dy, low temperature tunnelling afterglow shows clearly and alpha irradiation results in a higher rate of fading than dots beta. In the cases of CaF:: Mn and TLD alumina intense and lasting low temperature afterglows are observed as well. But they are shown to be mostly a blend of several non classical radiative processes added to tunndling, which forbids a numerical evaluation of fading due to the tunnel effect.
