About this document
Cytoprotective Effects of Carrot & Tomato Extracts by adeliaznpcipluk is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the cytoprotective effects of carrot and tomato callus extracts on UV-B irradiated human dermal fibroblast cells (HDFa). The results indicate that both extracts enhance cell viability and reduce the expression of inflammatory cytokines COX-2 and TNF-α, while carrot extract increases the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10. The highest cytoprotective effect was observed at a concentration of 0.5 mg/mL for both extracts.
