About this document

Coir Geotextiles in Unpaved Roads by Dian_Sipil is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigates the effectiveness of woven coir geotextiles in reinforcing unpaved roads through laboratory tests on two-layer pavement sections. Results indicate that the inclusion of coir geotextiles significantly enhances the bearing capacity and reduces plastic deformation under repeated loading, particularly when placed within the base course. The optimal placement for maximum performance is found to be at a depth of one-third of the plate diameter below the surface of the base course.
