What is Injection Point Inspection Guidelines about?

Injection points are locations where additional streams are introduced into a main process stream, and are susceptible to accelerated corrosion due to turbulence. They should be monitored separately with condition monitoring locations (CMLs) established upstream, downstream, and at the injection point. Inspections of injection points should use radiography or ultrasonic testing to establish minimum thicknesses and check for corrosion, with enhanced inspections within 10 pipe diameters of the injection point
