The Viscobarth is a viscosity control unit that monitors and controls the viscosity of homogenous liquids. It has been successfully used for over 30 years to monitor the viscosity of heavy fuel oils on ships. The unit measures viscosity through a capillary system and can measure from 2-100 cSt or 100-700 cSt depending on the application. It connects to engines through a 65mm flange and controls viscosity through alarms, a control valve, and electric heating if needed.
