This study retrospectively reviewed the use of infrahyoid myocutaneous flaps (IHF) for reconstruction after oral cancer resection by a single surgeon from 2011-2017. Of the 34 patients who received IHF reconstruction, 10 (29.4%) experienced partial flap loss and 1 (2.9%) experienced total flap loss. All partial flap losses resolved with conservative treatment.
