Can I read X-ray imaging with PbI2-based A-Si:H flat panel detectors on EtoBox?
X-ray imaging with PbI2-based A-Si:H flat panel detectors by K.S. Shah; R.A. Street; Y. Dmitriyev; P. Bennett; L. Cirignano; M. Klugerman; M.R. Squillante; G. Entine is a Physics and Astronomy article available to read on EtoBox.
What is X-ray imaging with PbI2-based A-Si:H flat panel detectors about?
In this paper, we discuss a new X-ray imaging detector which consists of lead iodide polycrystalline "lms as sensor and amorphous silicon #at panel arrays as read out. We present our investigation of such a detector in 5 cm x 5 cm format with 100 m pixels. The signal amplitude, and sensitivity of the "lms have been measured along with spatial resolution properties such as line spread function (LSF) and modulation transfer function (MTF). Real-time imaging performance at 30 frames/s of lead iodide "lms has also been evaluated using vidicon tube approach. Important properties of lead iodide "lm are also discussed. Finally, the potential applications of this detector are analyzed.
