About this document
Enhancing Heat Transfer in Solar Heaters by Hayder Rashid is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This manuscript presents a numerical investigation into the enhancement of heat transfer in solar air heater ducts using conical protrusion roughness ribs. The study explores the effects of rib height and pitch on thermal efficiency, achieving a maximum efficiency of 69.8% and developing correlations for friction factor and Nusselt number. The findings suggest that conical protrusions can significantly improve heat transfer rates while maintaining manageable pressure drops.
