Brer Rabbit and Brer Fox were clearing a ground to play. Brer Rabbit felt tired from the hot sun and sneaked off to find a cool place to rest. He got into an empty bucket but it tilted over and fell into a well. Brer Rabbit was scared at first but then pretended to be fishing. Brer Fox was suspicious and jumped into another bucket to see, but his weight pulled Brer Rabbit out of the well while Brer Fox was left stuck inside.
