What is TEV Protease Purification Protocol about?
The document provides instructions for expressing and purifying TEV protease from E. coli cells. TEV protease is expressed as a fusion protein containing maltose-binding protein and a double mutant of TEV protease. The cells are grown in LB medium, induced with IPTG, harvested, and lysed. The lysate is loaded onto a nickel column and TEV protease is eluted with imidazole washes. The eluted protein is dialyzed and stored in aliquots at -80°C.
