The accusative case shows the direct object of a verb. In Arabic, the direct object of a verb is always in the accusative case, indicated by a fat-ha or two fat-has added to the last letter. For example, "I love Allah" would be "أُحبُ هللا". There are two main rules for using the accusative case: 1) the object of a verb is always in the accusative case, and 2) in Arabic, the word "and" is used before the last item in a list but the conjunction "و" must be used between all items.
