What is Vectors and Geometry in Space about?

To locate points in space, three numbers are required and points are represented by ordered triples (a,b,c). Vectors in space are represented by arrows with magnitude and direction and can be added by placing the tail of one vector at the tip of another. The dot product of two vectors a and b is a scalar given by a·b = a1b1 + a2b2 + a3b3, which can be interpreted geometrically as |a||b|cosθ, where θ is the angle between the vectors.
