Experimental evidence for symmetric dimple evolution in foam films of a unilamellar dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine (DPPC) liposomal suspension is reported. The flattening of dimpled films is parametrized in a simple way. The experimental kinetic data are compared with calculated results under the assumption for tangentially immobile film surfaces. This treatment suggests an increasing surface mobility with increasing liposome concentration.
