What is Rizal about?

Rizal took a grand tour of Europe with his friend Maximo Viola beginning in May 1887. Some of the key places they visited included Dresden, Germany where Rizal studied plants; Prague and Vienna in the Czech Republic and Austria; Munich, Germany where they tasted famous beer; Switzerland including Geneva where they parted ways; and Italy where Rizal was amazed by famous sites in Rome before preparing to return to the Philippines.
